Description
Lovely antique* Taxco Mexico hand wrought sterling silver graduated bench hollow bead small choker necklace probably made in the 1930s. The "Hecho en Mexico 925" hallmark with no eagle assay mark means that it was made before 1948This is a lightweight necklace good overall condition with a rich even patina and some slight dents especially on the larger beads. This type of wear is commensurate with age and to be expected on an older piece of this kind. The original hook clasp closure works well.
At a length of 15.75 inches (40cm) this choker is suitable for a slender neck so measure carefully before deciding to purchase this piece
~ Length: 15-3/4" (40 cm)
~ Weight: 12 grams (according to my scale)
~ Marks: HECHO EN MEXICO 925 {along with several other letter corresponding to the individual artist but too worn to identify}
