Offered is this vintage Cardenas signed Mexico .950 sterling silver fire opal pendant necklace with an Aztec calendar at its center .
* The sterling silver pendant measures 1-3/8" high (including the bale) x 7/8" wide and features an Aztec calendar at its center with inlaid fiery opal around the outer body . The reverse is marked "Cardenas / Taxco / .950 " . The silver content of .950 makes this piece a better quality item than standard .925 sterling silver items .
* Attached to the pendant is an 20" sterling silver box chain with a spring clasp closure . The chain tag is marked "Italy / 925 / SU ". This pendant necklace dates to c.1970s and is a fine wearable item or a great addition to any vintage Mexico jewelry collection .
