Vintage Sterling Silver Taxco Cat with Lapis Sodalite Blue Stone Pin Pendant

Signed Taxco Sterling Silver Cat Pendant or Brooch
12.9g.   Approx. 2" height by 1 1/4" wide
Offering a handmade sterling silver pin (or pendant) set with a beautiful polished blue natural stone.
I am not sure if the stone is lapis, sodalite, or azurite, but it has a beautiful matrix  and color.  It is ocean blue, with the light parts having a tinge of green.  Please see photos.  The shape and the expression of the cat are very appealing.
It is signed on the reverse Taxco, Mexico, 925, and FD13.
The pin is in good working order, and there is also a loop so it can be worn as a pendant.  By threading the chain through the loop and also the closed pin, the pendant can hang level and attractively.  I have shown this in the last photo (the chain is NOT included).  Very nice Taxco silver work in a cute pendant/ brooch with a gorgeous stone.
