Made in the style and inspiration of Matl, Matilde Poulat~the craftsmanship of the silverwork, detailed scrollwork and particularily the manner in which the natural amethyts are cut pyramidal shape and set in a silver bezel~all of which mirror her designs
The necklace measures 32" x 1/2" wide and the pendant is an additional 3 1/8" x 2 2/8" and weighs 80 grams.( images h

An outstanding piece of artistry
A bit about Taxco-in about 1979 the eagle system was put to rest and replaced with letter/number mark to indicate the silversmith and guarentee sterling standard.
The first letter indicates the location, and there are a few in use, those most commonly seen are:T,M, G and C
T-refers to Taxco, Mexico.
The second letter indicates the first initial of the last name of the Silversmith.
The number indicates which number silver smith with that particular initial registered in the city's assay office.
