I'm very pleased to show you this wonderful and fun vintage hand crafted Toño TAXCO Mexico modernist
Piedra Negra
PARROT HEAD pin or pendant. The sterling silver mixed medal design includes a Turquoise stone in the eye. The back is fully hallmarked reading "Toño Piedra Negra Hecho en Mexico #T79 (design number)" along with "Sterling Taxco 925" in a circle with the letters AC in the center.
This is in very nice vintage
50's/60's condition with some of the usual light surface scratches you would find on older pieces. As you can see
it could
use a bit of polishing or light buffing if this is something you choose to do.
PLEASE NOTE
: This is being shown as found and although surface wiped I did not polish or buff it
. Most of my buyers tell me not to polish the items. I will leave that to the lucky winner.
I use a macro lens to capture as much detail as possible.
Keep in mind when using the zoom tool that you are seeing the item magnified many times over. This exaggerates even the tiniest scratch.
