Large Sterling Silver Mexico Cross Pendant Moonstone? on a Sterling Silver Italy 925 Snake Chain

A Jeweler believed that the stones are moonstone.  They do look like MOP Shell, also.  They measure approx. 14mm by 10mm.
Metal tested positive for Sterling Siver using acid test

Pendant measures approx. 3 3/8" high by 2" wide.  Weighs approx. 19g.
Stamped "MEXICO 925 ".
Snake chain measures approx. 18" long.  Thickness is 2mm.  Weighs approx. 12g. Stamped "SC ITALY 925".
Excellent condition. Some wear/patina
