This is a Fun CeramicFish, Pescado Pendant / Necklace.
You see
fish like this all over the traditional pottery of Tonala Mexico.
This pendant is
strung on
a
braided cord with slip knots
so the length can be
adjusted from a choker to mid chest.
The pendant measure: 2
inches tall (from the top of the bail) by 1 5/8 inches wide.
This
lovely necklace was made by
Sergio Perez Arana
of
Tonala
Mexico. Sergio is a
Master Potter as well as an expert Jeweler
.... He is a
member of Herencia Milenaria, a group of Master Craftsmen who are trying to preserve and continue the traditional ceramic traditions of Tonala Mexico.
