    Description

    ABOUT THE TURQUOISE
    When it comes to designers that buy stones for their designs,there was one vendor that was the most sought out & that was the late Larry Cooley.Larry was known for years in the industry as the ‘go-to guy’ when designers wanted the best vintage mined turquoise with the best cuts & quality.Federico was one who would buy & was so close with Larry, so much that before Larry passed, Larry requested that his vast & highly collectible collection of turquoise be passed on to Federico..Federico turned these stones into some of the most exquisite designs you’ll ever see & this “select collection” is not apart of his regular inventory.The turquoise is the best quality you can get & are not replaceable..
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    This is another statement style runway showpiece by Federico that is “drop to your knees” GORGEOUS!!! It’s a “Turquoise Lover’s” Dream! You will be dripping in turquoise with this one & be turning a lot of heads! Federico is the master designer that is known for his “Over the Top, Catwalk & very stunning bold styles !
    It is designed in a heavily cluster layout & is designed with approximately 158 natural,un-treated stones set in a 47 panel layout..(Can you imagine the time & love it takes to set all these??) The stones come from practically has every mine of turquoise there is in America & because of all the different tonality’s, gives incredible contrasts throughout! This is the beauty of “Sampler” turquoise pieces is the fact that you get a little of this & a little of that,without having a matching uniform color..The stones look to be mostly from Nevada mines which are known for their blues & greens & brown matrix patterns..There’s Blue Gem in there,lots of both blue & green Royston,plus so much more! If you know these particular mines,then you will know the intense colors they produce! There is also a mesmerizing huge chunk of Blue Gem that is apart of the closure!The ‘overall’ tone of the necklace is Aqua..
    Its impressive how this lays so well in “Form”,being that it’s made with all non-calibrated,mismatched sized stones! Nowhere does it lose it’s form & follows up the neckline with fluidity.. It’s one of those necklaces that “ooze’s” quality & feels SO good on the skin & lays like a good necklace should!
    Would make a wonderful gift!
    THE PHOTOS SAY IT ALL & IF YOU NEED MORE PHOTOS,I CAN PROVIDE MORE IF YOU NEED THEM!
    ****IMPORTANT****
    Unless the necklace is defective,there is now a 3% charge that will be taken out from the total price you paid,if there is return.
    Late last year all credit card companies,including Paypal, changed their policies & are now charging the seller this 3% for any & all charge backs.I'm sorry,but I will not eat this loss.This is one good reason why you should go over measurements
    before
    purchasing & read
    all
    the detail I provided you with & ask any questions/concerns you may have
    beforehand.
    So please go over everything in order to avoid a return & hurting others chances of possibly wanting to buy this.
    I am not a professional photographer, but I do try to do my best at giving you accuracy in color..
    To give you close ups,items tend to look much more larger & 10 X's more magnified than in actuality.Close up's make the item look so large & then you get the item in hand & you are shocked since they are much smaller than imagined.So to get a accurate idea of how big this is,please get a tape measure & compare to my given measurements.
    If you find the item is not as great as I think it is,it does not mean the item is 'not as described'!
    **THIS IS JUST A SMALL EXAMPLE OF WHAT DICTATES PRICING IN JEWELRY AND OR TURQUOISE.**
    1st of all, the artists name has a lot to do with how expensive a piece will be..You can have 2 designers making the same thing,the same way,but if one designer has a 'bigger-more recognizable' name,their's will cost more.It all comes down to how many years they've been in the industry,the awards they've won, the demand for their jewelry or say if a well known artist has passed,etc..(Federico's jewelry always comes with a higher price tag!)
    Let's say we got a 2 cuffs put side by side or 2 pairs of earrings,people many times ask,how can you have turquoise from the same mine,that's made by the same artist,the design is closely made the same,but one will be more expensive than the other. One reason is for the stones they used.The reason is the cost 'per carat' was either lower or higher, as well as the size of the stones..(Carat weight)
    Turquoise,like any stone,has low & high grades,with high grades costing more than low grades & whether the turquoise is natural or treated,with natural being more valuable per carat than treated..This will determine then how much the stone will cost..Then you look at what the artist had to pay 'per carat' for that grade of stone,as well as how'many carats' for the quality chose..This also relates with other stones,whether it's coral,spiny oyster,diamonds,rubies,peridot,amethyst,etc.
    What also dictates the pricing is the cost of the metal,(What did they pay for the metal?) the weight of the metal & their valuable time to make the piece! Artists put all this time into make sure they are giving us their incredibly made pieces & their time needs to valued & respected!
    This is just a little on how pricing works! And in this business,you pay for what you get!
