    Description

    Pretty vintage necklace handmade in Taxco, Mexico in the 1990's.  Never worn, it has been wrapped in tissue paper in a box.  It has a little patina on the back and almost no patina on the front.  It is in perfect unworn condition!
    Sterling SILVER 0.925 with TURQUOISE inlay on 21 panels joined with silver loops.  The 9 bottom panels are parallelogram shape with an animal motif.  There are 2 tapered panels, then the topmost 10 panels (5 each side) are rectangular.
    Snap close. Press down the button to release.  The mechanism is a touch stiff when snapping together but still easy to do.
    The necklace measures about 17 inches long.  It weighs 66 grams (almost 2.4 ounces). Stamped "MEXICO 925" and what looks like "TJ-24."
    Extra care has gone into this necklace with its different-shaped panels.  It hangs beautifully and will likely make for interesting conversation.
